ABOUT THE JOB:

We’re looking for a Front Desk and Night Auditor to assist guests with all duties related to client servicing during the day and night shift, including checking in, overseeing all guest requests, keeping all official paperwork up to date and managing the front desk.

During your first few days of employment, you will receive important information regarding the performance requirements of your position, basic company policies, your compensation , plus other information necessary to acquaint you with your job and the company. You will also be asked to complete an I-9 form and present the company with information establishing your identity and your eligibility to work in the United States in accordance with applicable federal laws.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks guests, answer phones and take reservations
  • Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
  • Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proven experience as a Night Auditor, Front Desk or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work overnight
  • BSc in accounting, finance or relevant field
  • Night Clerk must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and they should be able to coordinate and manage all types of people.

  • Average Rate Per Guest
  • Bedroom Occupancy Rate
  • Verifying entries of guest and non-guest accounts
  • Balance all front office accounts
  • Resolve room status discrepancies
  • Monitor guest credit limitations
  • Produce operational and managerial reports
